The International Linear Collider Project—Its Physics and Status

چکیده
The discovery of Higgs particle has ushered in a new era physics. Even though the list members standard theory physics is now complete, shortcomings became ever more acute. It generally considered that best solution to problems an electron–positron collider can study with high precision and sensitivity; namely, factory. Among few candidates for factory, International Linear Collider (ILC) currently most advanced its program. In this article, we review project status ILC including energy expandability.

The physics at the planned e+e− colliders is discussed around three main topics corresponding to different manifestations of symmetry breaking: W physics in the no Higgs scenario, studies of the properties of the Higgs and precision tests of SUSY. A comparison with the LHC is made for all these cases. The γγ mode of the linear collider will also be reviewed.
